Mrs KD, an enthusiastic active 80 years young lady became bed ridden after a fracture of her spine which didn’t unite in spite of bed rest and medications for over 2 months. Using the modern day Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, we filled cement in the fractured vertebra (vertebroplasty) and fixed with Per cutaneous screws put through 2 cm stab incisions. She was able to stand the very next day!! Thanks to aggressive rehabilitation and motivation by our physiotherapist, she is now back to doing all her activities by herself at 3 months!!
